 Service details

Coverage: The GRX platform is connected to a dedicated PoP in the  AMS-IX located in Amsterdam, the main GRX peering point in Europe. In this way, PT Comunicações can be regarded as a global GRX operator  with extended connectivity having the capacity to switch traffic with the main mobile and GRX operators worldwide.

Scalability: use of last generation CISCO routers, BGP4 protocol, use of public IP addressing and its own  ASN. DNS service with redundancy, acting as slave of the AMS-IX root DNS.

Flexibility: interconnection can established by means of leased lines,  VPNs supported in ATM (or not), total flexibility in terms of solutions to the Clients’ needs.

Security: IP network segregated from other public networks. Aditional security by means of firewalls, border gateways and/or IPSec implementation.
